I’m a middle school teacher by day, and a cynical, opinionated, sassy newlywed, sister, daughter, “dog mom,” and passionate foodie by night and weekend. When I’m not spending eight hours a day with my crazy adolescents, I enjoy spending time with our families, working on small house projects (transforming a former bachelor pad into a non-bachelor pad), visiting the local market & wine shop, playing with Izzy (our boxer), reading, skiing, and exploring the vast epicurean world.

Here you will find some of my original recipes, my favorite “borrowed” recipes, reviews on products that I love and hate, and the occasional DIY project.  At least that’s what I hope to bring you.  Of course it may evolve into a blog full of my everyday rants, or just simply a virtual recipe box.  That freedom is one of the joys of blogging, though, isn’t it?
