Snapshot Saturday: Breakfast

bagels, Reinhart

This morning’s breakfast consisted of bagels and Homestead Creamery’s rich, creamy chocolate whole milk. Our local grocery store does not carry this brand of milk, so we drive nearly 15 miles to get it. It’s worth it! They also still sell their milk in charming glass bottles.

So I adorned my second batch of Reinhart bagels with a variety of toppings: sesame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic pepper (garlic, coarse salt, cracked black pepper), and a cinnamon-sugar mixture. I didn’t do the “everything” mixture because it was so messy; until that first batch of “everything” bagels was gone, we would find stray poppy seeds and sesame seeds stewn all over our counter.

This little lady didn't get a bagel.

You can find the recipe for these fantastic bagels on my previous post here.
